Radiation scars can be treated with a softer type of microneedling, a sterile medical grade Hyaluronic acid wil be used, which can help restructure, regenerate and strengthen the radiation scar.
White rings around the areola can be camouflaged, anchor scars that are around the areola, travel downwards on the breast and underneath the breast, can look red and sometimes heal purple. Microneedling would benefit these scars. The white ring can be camouflaged along with restorative areola tattooing.
The scars must be a least a year old before we can treat them, Microneedling may be sometimes be called Collagen induction therapy, MCA or inkless- / dry tattooing.

Basically, we are creaing controlled trauma on the skin or scar, where a cascade of healing will be created, this will heal the scar more flatter, break down fibrous tissue so the scar feels less tight , which can make the area more mobile. It can also stimulate melancytes to the scar,
( your natural skin colour ) this also prepares the scar should it require camouflage tattooing, microneedling is always the first choice, whilst white scars we can go ahead with camouflage.
Purple scars may benefit from a session of microneedling, to try and break down the purpleness, but camouflage tattooing cannot cover them.
