Did you know that there is a wait of up to two years to have an areola and nipple micro pigmentation tattoo?
Sometimes a nurse carries it out, sometimes an external contractor carries it out.
Why is it such a long wait?
This is not a cosmetic procedure, in my opinion, this stage should be treated as finalising the breast cancer journey nand to feel normal, femaine or masuline again.
The sad thing is that there is funding put in place for it!
I have worked at a NHS hospital and I also carry the procedure out privately from my home studio.
