Microblading or Micro pigmentation???

I often get asked what is the difference between microblading and micro pigmentation eyebrows? So here is a few answers to your questions!

Q) What is the difference?

A) Microblade is a hand held tool which has a blade attached, the blade creates fine hair strokes when done correctly.

Micro pigmentation used disposable cartridge needles with a digital machine, which come in different needle configuartions to create hair strokes and 'powder brows'

Q) So micropigmentation is a permanent tattoo????

A) Both are tattoos and both can be permanent

Q) which one should I have??

A) Microblading is only suitable for young non oily skin, whcih includes oily T Zone,it is not suitable for mature skin. During both those skin types the hairstrokes can blur. Micro pigmentation is for all skin types apart from skin which has pustules and skin diseases in the local area.

Q) How Many 'Top Ups' would I need

A) With Microblading, this can only be done 3 times on the skin , so initial appointments and one yearly retouch as the procedure can leave scars.

Micropigmentation you can have an annual colour boosta but for oily skin, every 6 months.
